Within the Smethwick area, what is unique here – insofar as nature is concerned – is it’s close proximity to the canal network. Which can be accessed at the bottom of Brasshouse Lane, towards the High Street.
This is a significant highlight, as we’re able to connect to the wider aspects that nature has to offer within Great Britain.
We will be visiting the canal network further in our discussions.

Let us rest awhile here and indulge ourselves in quiet contemplation, as we watch the world go by.
It is good and important for us to take some time out for ourselves. Just 5 minutes on a regular basis will do.
So let us do that now with this little exercise:
Liking:
Quite often, as we go about our lives. Rarely is our focus on that in which we like. Whilst it is good that we look at where we may improve our lot. Equally important, is to appreciate what we have right now – what we like about ourselves and life.
You can take a seat, or continue walking as you carry this out. Ensure you maintain awareness of your surroundings also.
To begin. Take a moment and think about what you like about yourself and life at the moment. Whether that is something major or minor. Everyone has something they can appreciate. Not forgetting, that sometimes it can be the smallest of things that make the difference in life. So think only of the good.
…
Next, regardless of geographic location. Think of the place you’re at right now.
Are you indoors or outdoors?
What is there to appreciate about your location?
…
Now. Consider the 5 Senses and take time to appreciate them:
Name something good you have seen or are looking forward to seeing today.
…
What aromas have you enjoyed?
…
Name something pleasant you have heard.
…
A hug from a loved one or pet offers up the sense of touch.
…
Knowing and appreciating what we have and where we are, allows us to move forward in life.
Thank you for reading.
