Victoria Park High Street Smethwick. West Midlands B66 3NT UK.

On the left of the picture: Sandwell Council House and The War Memorial. On the right: What was once the Park Keepers Lodge, is now home to Smethwick Heritage Centre.

All pictures included here and in the second attached walk, are as up to date as possible. As I took a walk around the perimeter of the park this morning.
Mentioned here, are some of the features the park has to offer where possible. This is a very popular park and although you won’t see other people in the pictures (Data Protection observation), they are there.
You will also see in the pictures, that we go anti-clockwise on this virtual walk. This takes into account the varied gradients we negotiate along the way, and makes for a more comfortable walk overall.

For those who may be interested in further details of the park and History – local or otherwise, here’s a couple of links that may be of interest to you: –

Another couple of features to mention here, are: – Adizone Outdoor Gym and the Gym Kit Trail See pictures below:

As well as walking in nature itself. I’m aiming to include something different each week within these walks. Major features and items of particular interest within the parks, will be mentioned in the discussion. Whereas the actual walks, will be attached as photo albums, with little to no comment. Leaving the pictures to carry the virtual walker to wherever they feel guided.
Onto the walks:
