I’m looking forward to this particular collection of discussions.
First of all, it will ensure I actually spend some much needed time back in nature.
Secondly. It will allow me to reminisce about my childhood. As the places where I will be taking those walks, have all featured in my own life at some point or other. So you can expect a then and now description.
Whenever we look for personal betterment. We can only ever begin with looking at where we are now, and using what we already have.
This collection of discussions is a personal journey towards my own betterment. They are offered with the intention of inspiration and encouragement to you, the reader. Who are on your own journey towards personal betterment. Whether you’re actively following or stumbling upon them.
The walks that I will be sharing – all UK based – will include: –
*Local Parks of my childhood town and surrounding areas.
*Specific other Local Parks that have featured in my life.
*Country Parks – with their particular areas of interest and trails.
*Botanical Gardens.
*Canal and Cycle Network.
*Hillside Walks.
*Riverside Walks.
Included within those posts, will be web links to the given site of the walk – or local Authority – where further information may be obtained.
I’m going to do something different within these posts also. As well as the initial themed topical photograph. I will be taking multiple photographs along my walks and putting them into a File. This I will attach to the given post. Where one photo ends, the next will continue. So if you were to go through the entire file, you can virtually take the same walk yourself. I may even recommend certain Incense to burn as you flick through those – for those who may be interested – as it can be good therapy, and reinforce the visual content.
Depending on how the walks and posts go. I may even begin recording certain Meditations and attach those to corresponding posts also.
I’m genuinely looking forward to how these posts turn out and will add. I’m not a Fair Weather walker. So come rain or shine – I’ll be wherever the posts take me.
Please do take note:
We are all part of this oneness with Mother Gaia. A collective living, breathing and being entity.
As within. So without. As above. So below.
Nature can be a Great Friend and Relentless Foe.
Do not fight against but walk amongst.
Here’s to the betterment of everyone – should it be for the greater good of all.
Thank you for reading.
Next Week. We begin discussing: Walking In Nature: Parks.
