Last weeks discussion ended with:
The five Elements of:
Water. Wood. Fire. Earth. Metal (Air).
This was to link it with this week’s topic of Incense.
Likewise. Those Elements have their attachment to the Four Seasons. Awareness of this is certainly of significant importance for myself and the direction we’re headed with 7Severn.
That is partly because it corresponds with the wish to have a more seasonal outlook. Not to forget. The wider aspects of those elements in the governance of our bodies.
I like the way different modalities may be used together and we now step into Aromatherapy, with the inclusion of Incense. This is as an extension to and enhancement of Meditations – The recordings of which, will begin next year. Ultimately. Recorded Meditations and Incense, will be available from our shop in due course.
During recordings, we will be utilising our own Homemade Incense.
The idea would be to have a particular Incense or so, to go with those.
The picture above shows my recent purchase of tools, in preparation of homemade incense.
These were all purchased from Amazon, as that was more convenient for myself at this time. Also. As I have limited work surface space. It was decided to purchase a mobile workstation for the incense making process. This particular workstation fits perfectly under my current Galley kitchen surface. I’m able to roll it out to a more convenient place to work.
There will naturally be further purchases.
Tools so far:
* Warmiehomy Kitchen Island on Wheels.
* Huanquohi 15 piece Brass/Ceramic Incense Making Kit.
* SEWACC Sunshine Network Coil Incense/Incense Stick Drying Board.
* CHWARES Kitchen Scale with Trays 3000g/0.1g.
* ZENO 11cm Diameter Hard Natural Granite Pestle and Mortar Set.
* 8 Piece Measuring Cups and Spoons Set.
* Artibetter 2Pcs Measuring Syringe and Coil Making Syringe.
Notice I’ve used the packaging from the Incense Kit to inlay the left hand drawer. Consideration of your tool storage should be made when using mobile units. They remain in pristine condition for many years to come.
I do a lot of walking on a daily basis, so I’m always out amongst the elements. That said. I will be visiting the garden throughout this week. As it’s time now for me to see what is readily available for use. Which I will discuss in next week’s post.
Thank you for reading.
