Throughout my training, I’ve looked at various methods of healing and self help. What I find interesting, is that whereas the modalities may be varied – they all lead to the same outcome. That is because it really is all energy that we’re dealing with. It’s just a matter of finding what works for the individual. As it isn’t a one size fits all concept.
That they do all lead to the same outcome, is due to the Meridians. Which we have touched upon, during our “Tapping” discussions. As it is through them, we find specific points in which to tap.
Now unless you know about the Meridians, they’re not the first thing that pops into our minds, when it comes to personal betterment. This may lead to random “quick fixes”, in the hope of improvement. As opposed to making more informed choices through actually knowing what is happening.
I wanted to elaborate a little more on them here, for clarification.
So what are the Meridians?
They are Pathways within our bodies that Energy travels along. Imagine the electric circuitry within our homes, or places of work. When everything is in good condition, it all works perfectly. If there’s a break in the circuit, we have no power in that location.
Likewise with our Meridians. When all is well, the Energy is free flowing and our bodies are working well. When we’re feeling run down or have ailments. This means the Energy is no longer free flowing – There’s a blockage or two.
There are Six Pairs of Meridians and Two individual ones within our bodies. They are:
* Stomach (ST) & Spleen (SP) Meridians.
* Heart (HT) & Small Intestine (SI) Meridians.
* Bladder (BL) & Kidney (KI) Meridians.
* Pericardium (PC) & Triple Warmer/Energiser (TE) Meridians.
* Gall Bladder (GB) & Liver (LR) Meridians.
* Lung (LU) & Large Intestine (LI) Meridians.
* Governing Vessel.
* Conception Vessel.
As you can see. With the exception of The Triple Warmer/Energiser, which controls our Fight, Flight, or Freeze response, they are quite obvious in what they represent.
Each of the Meridians have their own time of day when they’re active. Therefore. awareness of your symptoms will now assist in awareness of which meridian warrants attention.
The Meridians are also governed by: The Five Elements: Water. Wood. Fire. Earth. Metal(Air).
I will finish on that note, as it leads nicely into next week’s topic. Where we begin discussing Incense.
As ever. Should you require more formal guidance. Please seek it accordingly.
Thank you for reading.
