In continuation of my use of crystals through Shadow Work. I begin with Anxiety, which was the fourth and final aspect I worked on.
Anxiety is more prevalent these days. It would be fair to say we’re all aware of this.
And yet. What the majority of people don’t realise, is what Anxiety actually is.
Anxiety is overthinking on the probability of something happening. Coupled with the belief that you will not be able to deal with it, should it actually happen.
I didn’t know this myself at the time, which is why it was an issue for me. Don’t forget. I was on a repetitive cycle of those aspects for a good while. I’d now be anxious that something else would happen to hold me back – and there it was! And I couldn’t deal with it because I didn’t know how, at that time.
I can laugh about it now and refer to it as “rinse and repeat”. That’s because I realise it was me alone that was putting myself through this particular cycle.
Dealing with Anxiety using Sodalite
Set an intention according to your particular anxiety. For example, I used: “I am peaceful”.
Having programmed the crystal in line with the intention. Hold the crystal and visualise a light coming from it and moving into your Solar Plexus Chakra, where it becomes a golden light.
This is good for your self confidence and safety. The light is now surrounding you and from within this light you begin to feel supported.
Carry the crystal around with you, as you go about your day and draw from its energy whenever you feel anxiety.
So that’s what I did.
You can use various other crystals for the same aspects. We’re all different and it is worth carrying out your own research, to see what works best for you.
To recap, I used:
* Tigers Eye for mental abuse.
* Hematite for addiction.
* Red Jasper for anger.
* Sodalite for anxiety.
I’m now slowly building my collection and will be further exploring their use in Meditations and Visualisations.
It is interesting to see the wider use possibilities of crystals. As they may not be the first point of call for many of us, and are often overlooked.
Next Week. We continue with Part 4/4. Looking at the wider use of crystals, and how they may help bring improvement to our lives.
Thank you for reading.
