“There is only one way to happiness, and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.” – Epictetus
A joyful welcome to all that read this post.
My resolve this week is that everyone will be of great joy, as they go about their day-to-day business and activities.
Yes. There may be stumbles along the way – falls even. It is all too easy in such circumstances to temporarily delude ourselves, setting us back into upsets. A feeling of being had in some way, may enter our thoughts at this time also.
The most important thing is that we continue regardless. When we do this, in spite of setbacks and so on. There will at some point, come a time where we become content – as with last week’s discussion.
It is by being in this state of content that we have the way cleared for us to become Happy – Amused – Delighted. This is where the fun times can really begin to manifest.
“Then awake! the heavens look bright, my dear;
‘Tis never too late for delight, my dear;
And the best of all ways
To lengthen our days
Is to steal a few hours from the night, my dear!”
Irish Melodies (1807) ‘The young May moon’

To end this week’s discussion. Here’s a few questions to help you journal your happiness, as you reflect on your day: –
1. What made you happy?
2. What did you do that made others happy?
3. What did you do with your happiness?
4. How dedicated were you to your and other peoples happiness?
Thank you for reading.
Next Week. We’re: Cheerful – Jovial – Playful.
