Emotions Wheel:- Surprise: Overcome – Astounded – Speechless 5/6

“Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.”
Les Brown.

The Britannica Dictionary states: –

Overcome:
To defeat (someone or something).
To successfully deal with or gain control of (something difficult).
To affect (someone) very strongly or severely — usually used as (be) overcome.

Astounded:
Feeling or showing great surprise or wonder.

Speechless:
Unable to speak because of anger, surprise, etc.

Sticking with the Emotions Wheel as a collective  analogy, in which to explain the current topic. We may well have been speechless at certain times in our lives, where words have failed us. Maybe through Fear. Anger. Or Sadness.
Yet we moved on – reaching our current point – having overcome that which rendered us speechless.
Right now. We’re Astounded to have reached this point in which we find ourselves.

In this penultimate state of Surprise and having travelled a fair distance. It’s time to loosen up a little.

We live in a faced paced world. So why not take a little time out where you actually slow down the pace slightly and see yourself astounded with your encounters.

No matter where you are in life, never forget your Inner Child and the life they live. The element of surprise in new found wonders on a family day out perhaps. Or the general fun and laughter to be had.

I am of course, bringing forth only the love and light to be had. For instance. Last week, I shared with you a childhood visit. What is your story of a similar nature?

Maybe it’s my inner child speaking to yours, when I say allow for a little mischief – don’t go overboard – just a little to keep our spirits up. Explore where else and what else there is to overcome. Allow your inner child to live again.

Where will you go?
Who will you go with?
What do you see yourself doing?
What will you do when you first arrive?

The anticipation stirs… The element of surprise and wonder beckons. Can you feel it?

Oops! Don’t go too far now…
Shhh! Remain speechless.
It’s ok… I don’t think anyone noticed.

Acknowledge there will be times in life where we experience the element of surprise. They can be fun times too.
