There is a note to the world in our collective window this week. It reads:
“Everyone Beware!
We’re easy to anger, annoy and disturb.
Please tread carefully.”
Forewarned is forearmed – and the world – I’m sure, thanks you for the heads-up.
Let us clarify this further.
The Britanica Dictionary states: –
Irritable: becoming angry or annoyed easily.
Annoyed: to cause (someone) to feel slightly angry.
Aggravated: annoyed or bothered.
This week sees us literally and unfortunately on the back burner of life’s niggles. It’s hot back here – stifling even. I’m stuck in this stew and feel as though I cannot free myself from this simmering current. It really is quite irritating to feel so irritable. Annoying to feel so annoyed. Aggravating to be so aggravated. Right now, it feels so uncomfortable for me to even be in my own skin.
Just reading these words may not be very favourable to those of you who are reading, and I agree. That is the whole point. We pass through states of annoyance – we do not and should not become them.
Do you want to remain here – in this stew? No?
Okay, then turn it around.
To do this, there must be an allowance to take time out for yourself in some way – no matter how short this may be, yet it must happen. If you are someone who may be prone to this occurring in your life, then a plan of action in such events is to be welcomed.
Wherever you find yourself on such matters. I include some suggestions below. You may wish to choose one that resonates with you. Or adopt all of them into your life.
In doing so. Be sure to let those around you – who may need to be aware – know of your plan. This will help build or increase on your support structure.
Here’s a few suggestions that may help: – 1. Breathing Exercise. 2. Talk to friend/confidante. 3. Walk in nature.
There are countless other things you may do to self-assist, yet either one of those ideas listed above, can turn things around for you.
And, as always. Please seek further guidance, should you feel the need to do so.
Thank you for reading.
Next Week. We’re discussing: Envious – Resentful – Jealous.
